FHE- Completing our Pumpkin Family

Matt insisted that we each have our own pumpkin, so although Jess and I had taken Ollie to pick his out, we hadn't picked one out for either Matt or me. We went back to the same place around the corner that we tried last week, a cute older couple runs it and it feels better buying a pumpkin from them than out of a big bin at Walmart. On the way in we stopped to get a picture before our adventure began...

 

There were tons of pumpkins to choose from, but I found mine first. I love crazy stems and there was this one pumpkin that not only had a crazy stem, but leaves hanging off it too!

 

Matt went for a big daddy pumkin of course. His pumpkin has a huge stem on it too, perfect for Ollie to hold onto when riding the pumpkin!

 

Pumpkins selected, we took them up to the checkout and then the couple was nice enough to act as a photographer for our first little Halloween family picture.

 

Matt couldn't resist stopping at the McDonalds across the street.

 

We celebrated our night with a dipped cone for him and a happy meal for me- he is obessed!

 

Ollie was all tuckered out and fast asleep by the time we got home, so the carving was postponed but our little pumpkin family is all lined up and ready!
