Little Entertainer

Monday we all spent the day catching up on work and relaxing. While I was busy working away downstairs I could hear Ollie sqealing upstairs while playing with Matt. Hearing the two of them play together always makes me smile! Apparently Matt was up there encouraging Ollie to crawl. He can get on his knees and rock around but he hasn't made a move yet, he still thinks it's fun though and he is the cutest little thing ever when he is doing it.
From the ground...

To his knees...

Rocking forward...

And backward, laughing the whole time...

Cutest little guy ever! (Yes I know I am biased!)

After we tied things up and packed up we headed out to Moab. But not without stopping at Walmart first, Ollie was running low on baby food so we had to stock up. He is so good at sitting now we let him ride in the cart, and he LOVES it!

Loving being a big boy!

It was a bit of a drive to get there which made it difficult for Ollie. He's such a little busy body now that it is hard for him to stay happy for 4 hours in a car. He did good for most of it but towards the end he simply wanted out of his car seat. It was fun to watch him decide what to do while sitting there. Mainly because he is at that stage where he is discovering himself. I looked over to find him staring at his hand and moving his fingers around like it was the first time he had seen them, and the first time he ever realized that he controls those fingers. He would squeeze them in and out, in and out all the while staring at them- so cute. Reminded me of Jack Black in the movie "Envy" where he is in the car looking at his hand talking about how amazing it is like he had discovered it for the first time. We finally made it to Moab, found our place and we pretty much all crashed after that knowing we were going to be getting up early in the morning to start our adventures!
