Church was amazing. It was fast and testimony meeting, and I don't know if it was just because I was still riding the high of the spiritual week we've had as Matt's received his call and we have pondered and prayed, and gone to the temple together as he sought answers to know who his counselors should be, but there was a special spirit in the meeting today. So many testimonies were shared regarding general conference and specifically people were sharing their stories regarding the news that elders can now go on missions at age 18 and sisters at age 19. It was amazing to hear from the youth, I was really touched especially to see one of my young women get up and talk about how she has always wanted to go, always prayed to go, and now she is only one year away from being able to serve and how both excited and prepared she already is. It's amazing to see all of this unfolding before us, what an impact all of these new missionaries will make! Matt's calling was announced and he was sustained in priesthood along with his counselors. Next week he will be set apart.
After church we had fun with Ollie. He loves his little horsie and he is getting good at rocking it and riding it by himself. We took a picture and sent it to Jess so she could see his new trick- excited for her to be here next week!
Marcee and Lance invited us over for break the fast, with a request for cinnamon rolls or french toast, Matt decided to make cinnamon roll french toast- AMAZING!
Why has he never thought of this before? Spent a relaxing night with the family- Ollie always loves it there- he gets so much love and attention. Tonight he got to play football with Nathanael. Happy Sunday!
